Changing Your Esteem Implant Profile Setting

You have three different Profile Settings on your Esteem implant, changing profile settings can be helpful when you are changing environments.

1. Turn on the programmer by pressing
   and holding the “Standby” button for a few
   moments; lights will illuminate.
2. Select the desired profile by pressing the
   “Profile” button to scroll to your desired profile setting A, B, or C(see figure below)

1. Locate the “Transmit” button.
2. Hold the Personal Programmer directly over the
   implanted Esteem device.

Press the “Transmit” button.

Listen for the confirmation tone, and check
the Profile LED on the programmer. If
the LED next to the selected profile is steady,
the Esteem is currently in Active Mode in
the selected profile. If the LED is blinking,
communication was not successful; try again.
