KTHV - Hearing Device invisible to the eye

The FDA has given approval to a new hearing aid that's invisible to the eye.

The system has three components implanted in the ear. It also uses an implanted battery that has to be surgically replaced every 3 to 9 years.

The hearing system can be used to treat moderate to severe hearing loss caused by the inner ear.
